As I am trying to be a better photographer, the more I realized how hard it is to go on a path of taking only Black & White pictures. I mean you’re disclosing yourself from so many colours and maybe it is easy to give it a try. But to me, it’s quite a challenge!
We’ve been encountering a several designers having their take in movie posters. I mean who doesn’t love movies? We are still waiting in line for movies and eating popcorn! We are still embracing the movie experience at its best. With the amount of content we can find online about our favourite movies, with that much content it’s always great what you can stir up with a redesign and a concept.
We’ve featured a lot of concepts on Abduzeedo, some of them are plain redesign and others are intuitively well-thought-out ideas. For example, let’s take a closer look at the work of Jay Lee who is a UI designer currently based in Seoul, Korea.
It’s been quite some time we last heard or seen any interesting 365 days project on Abduzeedo. We might think that designers and artists might go for a simpler route to do lettering, typography, motion or else. Some designers decided to go on another route, right to the core at making posters.
Phosfroma is a branding project shared by Bullseye. The main goal of the project was to help Phosfroma to be recognized as a leader in professional lighting solutions for both indoor and outdoor building applications. The end result is a simple and elegant branding with a beautiful system to support it.
Coming back from a short trip to Berlin, you can’t deny how beautiful this city is and how it is full of history and architecture to go through. Something I’ve noticed as well is how proud they are of what’s from and what’s made in Germany.
We've seen some great gadgets and equipment for designers. So many cool stuff, that we could actually assemble infinite perfect office spaces! Every week we'll assemble a perfect office, and we'd like you to help us. What equipment would the perfect office have?
We all had a long week of work, school and maybe vacation (some of us) and after spending some time relaxing with family, friends; we'll mostly spend be ready to tackle a new week.
Moose SS16 is an art direction and photography project shared by Valeria Moreiro, a freelancer art director from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The cool thing about this project is for me the compositions and how they were carefully thought to create the clean style of text overlays and low contrast between text and background.
As you may have seen from our social channels, we have been covering the launch of the new car company called: LYNK & CO (via our Instagram) in Berlin, Germany. It has been an exciting ride as that is our first international unveiling for Abduzeedo.
Uber refreshed their branding and visual identity in the beginning of this year and despite the controversy it was a in my opinion a solid work. I know some of the designers behind it and I have profound admiration for the work that they do, they are experts at their craft and probably some of the best in this field.
Geiger Magazine is a editorial design project created by Mads Thorsoe and it was a school assignment to redesign a magazine. The reason I am sharing this project is because it is an old one, it was shared in 2012, that's 4 years ago.
I happen to have an unhealthy obsession with candles that smell amazing so when we received a delivery from Keap Candles out of Brooklyn, NY my day was made. Upon opening the beautifully packaged discovery set of four tea light candles my olfactory senses were in heaven.
